Hi Graham,
Just wondering if the iPad can be used for the electronic runbooks??
Also is there available a more comprehensive manual/ instruction sheet for set up??

Hi,
I do not know if the Ipad will be suitable. I guess it might be as any device that can store and display a .htm document will do.
There is no manual to help set up devices as a run book display. I have a document to assist setting up a Sony PSP as a display. I do have some documents of examples that may help you setting up a runbook. There is no set way to configure the runbook data and agents use different ways to suit themselves to achieve what they require on their display.

Have been successful with ASUS TF101 tablet (about $490.00)

You need to download free Opera browser V11.1 as this can view local htm files from the micro SD card. You can make bookmarks of your various sections for quick opening.

You can also have multiple run books open.
